Kane Cornes stepping up as Stadium Stomp Ambassador 2016
Former Port Adelaide legend Kane Cornes will be making every step count this July, joining as brand ambassador for Stadium Stomp!
Stadium Stomp is the ultimate test of strength and persistence, as participants aim to conquer the 6500+ steps of Adelaide Oval.
Known for his endurance, Kane is looking forward to returning to the iconic South Australian venue.
“I love Adelaide Oval – lots of memories here from my footy days!
“Little Heroes Foundation are a great cause and a good fit for me! I’m excited to be doing this for the kids they support!
“I’m not the best with stairs so it should be a challenge!”
Over $14,000 was raised through the event in 2015 and we are hoping to increase that figure for 2016!
All money raised through Stadium Stomp will go towards our $4 Million ‘Centre for Robotics and Innovation’, which is due to open in April this year!
CEO Sean Connors is excited that Cornes is stepping up at Stadium Stomp Ambassador.
“Kane’s a great bloke and an even better athlete, so this fantastic news!”
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Cornes will also be running the 2016 New York Marathon for Little Heroes Foundation in November!
