Celebrating with our Little Heroes at Santa’s Wonderland

A long time tradition here at Little Heroes Foundation is our annual Kids Christmas Party, one of our favourite events of the year!

Our Christmas parties are all about allowing families to make some happy, lasting memories while their child is undergoing treatments, which is why our invitations extend to the whole family.

In previous years, we have taken our Little Heroes to Adelaide Zoo, the movies, Sempahore Showgrounds and even BOUNCE inc.!

In 2016, we hosted our biggest party yet at the brand new Santa’s Wonderland at the Adelaide Showgrounds! Over 300 of our Little Heroes and their families enjoyed all the Wonderland had to offer including amusement rides, ice skating/tobogganing, Christmas story telling, plus live stage performances!

In our private function room, our Little Heroes also had a special visit from their favourite super heroes  from Fairy Bay including Spiderman, Superman and Supergirl! However no one can quite compare to the big man himself – Santa!! Santa was incredibly generous with his gifts  this year, however he had a bit of help! Thanks to Influencers Church and Argo Cafe, Santa gave away over 200 Christmas presents to our Little Heroes and their siblings!

A special thanks goes out to our ambassadors Alisa Fraser and Jake Lehmann for joining us to celebrate, along with our new Corporate Relations Manager Tony Modra! You all put smiles on the faces of our little heroes and we are so thankful that you took time out of your busy schedules to do so!

We’d also like to thank our corporate heroes for supporting the event including CMV Group, Influencers Church, Halls Cranes, Fairy Bay, Supagas, and Argo’s Cafe.

And of course, Little Heroes Foundation would like to wish each and every person who attended a very Merry Christmas! We hope you all had as much fun as we did!
