Little Heroes Month at Specsavers Marden!
Little Heroes Foundation is proud to announce that October is Little Heroes month at Specsavers Marden!
Starting this week, Specsavers Marden will be donating $5 from every eye test undertaken throughout October to help us reach our $2 million target to cover the final costs of our Centre for Robotics and Innovation!
Specsavers Store owner, Deanna Stringer is passionate about the cause and is dedicated to helping pay off the centre.
“Little Heroes do incredible work for the community and it is a genuine privilege to help them change the lives of so many children and adolescents.
“We have donated a portion of every glasses sale to the charity since September 2013 and we are desperate to help them get into the next research stage of this rehabilitation clinic faster, so we will be donating money for every eye exam in October too,” she adds.
Additionally, on every Saturday of the month starting 8 October, the team will also be offering face painting and air brush tattooing for a gold coin donation to further support the cause.
“The best thing is, even if you have private health insurance for your glasses and a bulk-billed eye exam, the donation will be made. So if you come and get your eyes tested in October, you’ll be assisting the lives of many little heroes in our community while looking after your own eye health.”
