A huge congratulations to Josh Kent and Dominic Cunningham who successfully completed the Busselton Ironman in Western Australia! Imagine swimming 3.9km, riding 182km and then to cap it off - running a further 42km?! And to make it worse - you have to do it in under 17 hours... Ashlei and Stephen Light Up Adelaide

Brilliant Backyard Bash at the Bay

Cricket legends, AFL Stars, Rock Gods and 'Ketut' put on a fantastic show for an enthusiastic crowd in the first ever XXXX Gold Backyard Bash at Gliderol Stadium. Fans were treated to a spectacular game of T20 cricket and were able rub shoulders with the likes of Adam Gilchrist, Darren Lehmann, Joel Garner, Brendan Fevola and Dave Gleeson.More>>

Santa Scoots in Mini Toy Run

Scooters will converge on Adelaide's coast this month in a Mini Toy Run. The ride, from Yamaha World to Semaphore Palais via Glenelg, will be run on Suday December 9 and will benefit children through St Vincent's de Paul and Little Heroes Foundation.More>>


Grain Harvest to help Rural Kids

Keeping busy in the Big Apple after Cyclone Sandy

Our team of New York Marathon runners have been making the most of their time in the Big Apple after the event was cancelled in the wake of Cyclone Sandy. It was crushing news for our participants who have trained so hard to take part in the marathon. Despite the race not going ahead, our runners have been staying positive and doing what they can to help New York, which is still recovering from 'Sandy'. Foodland raises $32,000 for Go The Distance

Congratulations to Foodland SA's Go The Distance team, which raised $32,000 at this year's inaugural event. Richard, Julie, Russell and Cathy rode 30 kilometres each while Ric, Silvana, Tony, Narita, Angela, David, Maria and Tony ran 7 kilometres. Nat and Jim were the marathon champions running a very impressive 21.1kilometres. A top effort by everyone! Thank you all for your wonderful support!

Slowdown 2012 Success

The 2012 West End Slowdown saw us host Collingwood legends and bring our biggest Little Heroes Foundation event to the Bay for the first time. In what was a thrilling game, the Crows pulled off a dramatic one-point win after the final siren, and Olympic BMXer Sam Willoughby was awarded best on ground with five goals.
