GE Capital raise over $122,000 for Little Heroes Foundation

GE Capital's senior leaders were all heart on Valentine's Day this year when they raised $122,984 for Little Heroes Foundation at the company's annual fundraising auction.

It was with a yee-haa that auctioneer Steve Wall closed the western themed auction, which included a staggering 93 items donated by the company's generous partners and suppliers. Auction items ranged from TVs and holidays to a night out on the town with GE Capital's leading ladies (from the executive team) and tai chi with the MD of its Fleet & Equipment Finance business.

The auction raised $54,305 which is DOUBLE what they raised last year! GE Capital suppliers Bridgestone and Veda also donated $2,000 each and a casual clothes day in GE Capital offices raised $3,187. To top it all off, GE Capital doubled the final amount!

The auction is part of a leadership conference in Queensland, which gathers over 250 of GE Capital's senior leaders from Australia and New Zealand.

Little Heroes Foundation is GE Volunteers' new partner in South Australia.
