Networking Night Success

Over 20 businesses attend LHF Networking Night last week!

Last Thursday, Little Heroes Foundation brought together over 20 of our corporate partners at the Cathedral Hotel, for a special networking night.

This networking function was our way of showing our gratitude and appreciation for our corporate supporters, by providing them with an opportunity to generate new business and connect with each other.

Hosted by Anna Meares, the night started off with a brief introduction to the event, including Anna’s story, her journey with Little Heroes Foundation and what she’s been up to since retiring from professional cycling in 2016. A representative from every business then went around the room, visiting each station and chatting to every business in the room, moving around every few minutes in a ‘speed dating’ style event.

After the serious side of the night had concluded, guests were treated to some delicious nibbles and drinks thanks to the Cathedral Hotel, and our Door Prize winner was announced!

A special mention to Lyn from Flower Dreaming as well, who created a beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank Anna for taking some time out of her busy schedule to host the evening!

A big thank you to all who attended the evening, including:

We look forward to hosting another similar event in 2019!

TESTIMONIALS

“Thanks again for inviting Matt and I last Thursday, was a really great event and good to see such a mix of local businesses represented. From our end, we met some great people and I’ve already started talking internally about how we might be able to work with some of the business’s we were introduced to.”  - David Watson – SACA

“Thank you to all for a great Networking Night, we have started some initial dialogues with about half of your attendees and we appreciate the opportunity to have connected with them.” – Steve Kounias – BeastWear

“Networking function at Little Heroes Foundation. This wonderful organisation supports the lives and families of sick children. They also give back to people that support them. Without businesses and individuals supporting them, they would be unable to deliver the wonderful support they provide families of children most in need.”  - Nicole James, Fundemental Nutrition
